Daniel has recently joined our practice from Aukett Swanke to help broaden our science and research sector and to help strengthen front-end design capabilities. Daniel has worked extensively with Elias Niazi and Peter Eaton over 7 years, playing a key role in design and delivery of science and research buildings including Granta Park where he worked on a new build life science building for Gilead c. 100,000 SF and an office to lab conversion for Sosei Heptares. At Cambridge Science Park, Daniel worked on the Bradfield Centre and plot 23 & 24 Trinity Centre site where he helped obtain a planning consent for a Hotel, conference, retail and lab / office uses.
Daniel has, over 20 years, trained at leading architectural practices including Ateliers Jean Nouvel in Paris and Rome, Dominique Perrault Architects in Madrid and dRMM in London. During those years, he has worked in a variety of projects from residential and masterplanning to leisure, academic and commercial. Daniel’s European experience is invaluable and adds a whole new dimension to the way we design buildings in the UK. He is currently working on a number of life science projects and masterplans in Cambridge and London.
When he is not crafting in architecture, Daniel can be found taking photographs (lately more inclined towards astrophotography), swimming or spending time with his young family.
Daniel studied and qualified as Architect with the long degree in Architecture at the University of Seville, Spain. He also trained as Architect at the University of Hannover in Germany with the Erasmus program and at the Vienna University of Technology in Austria with the Leonardo program.
