Elias is a Director and a business partner at Niazi Roden. He heads up our life sciences and research project and has a significant cross-sector expertise including workplace, R&D, mixed-use, student housing and higher education. Elias has designed complex urban mixed-use masterplan, business parks and research campuses across the UK including London, Cambridge, and Oxford. In Cambridge, he is currently leading an exciting new life science building at Granta Park called Project Ghiberti for Biomed Realty. In Oxford, Elias is designing a cutting-edge life science building called Trinity by Breakthrough Properties. He has extensive experience working closely with planning departments, various stakeholders and clients.

Previously, Elias was a Design Principal at Aukett Swanke in London where he led several major schemes including the masterplan for a 1.35 million SF Imperial College, White City North Campus. He designed Molecular Sciences Research Hub, 620-unit student housing and several key worker housing at White City Campus. He has designed and delivered several laboratory and office buildings at Granta Park, Cambridge Science Park, St Johns Innovation Park and Cambourne Business Park, including the Bradfield Centre at Cambridge Science Park.In Reading, UK, Elias was involved in a major new office development called the Forbury Place, 375,000 SF for M&E Real Estate. He has been involved in several award winning projects across the UK & Europe, USA, Brazil, India and the Middle East.

At the core of Elias's approach is an interest in how architecture can be integrated into its context across the disciplines of urban design, landscape, planning and environment. He is passionate about creating timeless design that inspire those who use them. He sees opportunities in everything and uses this to raise the aspirations of those around him.
